Specialist, Application Security

Are you interested in helping build secure applications and embedding security into modern development practices? **Join Outokumpu as Specialist, Application Security** and support the security of our application landscape across development, procurement, deployment and maintenance. **In this role,** you will promote secure-by-design and secure-by-default practices, enabling business innovation, digital transformation and operational resilience. **Your key responsibilities** - Develop and maintain application security standards, requirements and best practices - Ensure security requirements are integrated into application development and procurement processes - Establish and promote secure software development lifecycle practices - Support integration of security controls into CI/CD pipelines - Drive adoption of DevSecOps principles across development teams - Provide expert guidance to project teams and application owners - Increase awareness of application security risks and best practices **What we are looking for** - Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or a related field - 3+ years of experience in cyber security, application development, software engineering or related disciplines - Understanding of SSDLC, OWASP Top 10, application security testing, secure coding, threat modelling, API security, authentication and authorization technologies, IAM and DevSecOps - Experience with cloud-native and modern application architectures is preferred - Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage **What Outokumpu offers** At Outokumpu, you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to securing business-critical applications in a company with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and responsible operations.
