Nanny for a special need Child

I am seeking to employ a full-time nanny to care for my 12-year-old son, who has special needs. The role involves providing daily supervision, support with routines, and ensuring his safety and well-being. The position includes accommodation and meals, as well as access to the family car for work-related duties. The employment will be formal and in accordance with Finnish labour law. The salary will be based on experience and the applicable collective agreement (TES) for domestic work/childcare in Finland. All terms will be defined in a written employment contract. Below is a more information about the job description: - Provide daily care and supervision. - Assist with morning and evening routines. - Preparing the child for school, accompany the child to therapy sessions, appointments, and recreational activities when required. - Assist with communication, behavioral support, and social interaction. - Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment. - Monitor and report any changes in the child's health, behavior, or development. - Provide companionship and emotional support. - Perform child-related household duties such as laundry, tidying play areas, and organizing belongings. Essential Requirements - Genuine passion for working with children. - Excellent patience, empathy, and communication skills. - Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. - Good organizational and problem-solving skills. - Clean criminal background check. - Good spoken and written English.
