**JOB PURPOSE**
A Marine Store Keeper is an organized, experienced individual who is responsible for all stock management, storage location condition monitoring and improvement.
A storekeeper must be able to multitask and perform under pressure while remaining professional with customers. A Storekeeper is able to manage stock by keeping a record of purchases and ordering the required replacement for spare parts and important items that are required by the different departments on board the Vessel.
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including HSE Requirements:**
1\. The Storekeeper needs ensure that the EE Policies, Procedures and Processes are implemented, enforced and, when applicable, developed, and improved.
2\. Maintain day to day relations with the internal clients (HODs) on Supply Chain related topics.
3\. Review and monitor performance against inventory procedures and strategies to improve performance and effectiveness on the warehouse and inventory location for EE with direct communication to our office staff (Houston HQ)
4\. Provide monthly KPIs including but not limited to:
- Inventory counts
- POs received on board vessels - Inbound Cargo Manifests (MRR)
- Reverse Logistics implementation (Outgoing cargo manifests (MTL) and Manifest for Exportation (MFE)
- New Equipment, Spares, or consumables requests preparation (NSCR) for office generation in the system.
5\. Perform Material Requisitions receptions in a timely manner.
6\. Assist the logistic and procurement dept. to follow up on the OS&D process (Overage, shortage, or Damage).
7\. Keep Chief Engineer fully updated on spare parts and consumable status.
8\. Control and order spare parts and consumables for all Departments (Replenishment Plan)
9\. Follow up, receiving, delivery of spare parts and stores, inspection & storing.
10\. Control, registration and updating data on regular basis in NSE Stock control program.
11\. Maintain current files for Open and Closed Requisitions, Purchase Order, Packing List and Invoices. Over, Short and Damaged OSD, Return to stock.
12\. Daily issues slip form monitoring and proper follow up.
13\. Adequate protection of all parts and tools in storerooms.
14\. Ensures that borrowed tools and instruments are properly returned in good condition and keep tracking report up to date.
15\. Control of and keep storerooms and adjacent compartments clean and tidy, well organized, and spare parts correctly labeled and safely stored.
16\. Maintains good housekeeping practices in all storage areas of the warehouse and outside storage areas
17\. Monitoring all Stores are taken to the Warehouse location in a timely manner after physical reception takes place on board and further distribution to the HOD (Heads of Department) is done of cargo reception.
18\. Maintains good housekeeping of equipment, receiving areas, and storage area following HSE protocols and procedures.
19\. Maintain Filing of Requisition forms, ensuring that they are properly filled up and acknowledged by the requesting parties.
20\. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records
21\. Implement Cycle counts onto Warehouse shelving and racking structures (Including re organization and material placement inside the location)
22\. Relabeling of materials as required.
23\. Process Implementation for warehouse improvements.
24\. Weekly chemicals and lubes compressed gas bottles, medical supplies, medicines, and personal protective equipment inventory Count.
25\. Transfer orders generation for material transfers within EE Fleet Vessels.
26\. Handover notes preparation for storekeeper relief.
**Crew Matrix Requirements (STCW):**
- Maritime English – CEFR B1
- Cyber Security Awareness
- Bullying and Harassment
- STCW V/1.2.1 Basic training for LNG Tanker Cargo Ops
- STCW VI/1 Basic safety
- STCW VI/6.1 - Security Awareness
- STCW VI/6.2 - Designated security duties
**Technical Competence:**
- MS Office skills with Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word.
- Understanding of Warehousing and Inventory management procedures and processes.
- Good Knowledge in Supply chain information systems (ERP).
- Previous Warehousing and Inventory control experience strongly preferred, or ability to demonstrate comparable knowledge and skills. (Preferred 3 years).
- Strong team spirit and customer service orientation.
- Willing to work extended periods of time and perform physical activities
Previous experience on an FSRU vessels is required.
