We are looking for a**Team Lead, Qualification**to join our**Qualification Team**in the Engineering department.
The Qualification Team plays a critical role in ensuring that our equipment, facilities, utilities, and associated computerized systems are properly tested, documented ,and approved for their intended use. This helps ensure that our operations meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and are ready to support the production of high-quality gene therapy products.
The team is responsible for planning, coordinating and maintaining qualification activities throughout the lifecycle of facilities, equipment and systems, in accordance with regulatory requirements, company procedures and industry best practices.
As Team Lead, you will lead and develop a team of qualification professionals while providing direction, support and expertise in qualification-related activities. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, contributing to both operational excellence and continuous improvement.
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead, coach and develop the Qualification Team, supporting competence development and team performance
- Set priorities and allocate resources to ensure efficient execution of qualification activities and project deliverables
- Provide guidance and decision-making support on qualification-related topics, risks and issues
- Review and approve qualification documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Support audits, inspections, investigations of process or documentation deviations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and change management activities
- Drive continuous improvement and foster effective collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality functions
**In order to succeed in this role, you should have:**
- A technical or scientific degree combined with relevant industry experience
- Previous experience in leading people or coordinating technical teams
- Experience in a regulated industry environment, such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, food production or another quality-driven industry
- Understanding of qualification, validation, quality assurance or technical compliance processes
- Knowledge of investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and change management practices
- Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English and the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
Most importantly, you are a supportive leader who enables your team to succeed and is motivated by developing people, improving ways of working and contributing to high-quality GMP operations.
This is a permanent, full-time salaried employee position (37.5 hours per week). Our aim is for the selected candidate to start in the role during September–October, with some flexibility based on availability.
